For every twenty five students, a mentor is made in charge to closely monitor their academic and non-academic activities. This system helps to establish a good rapport between teachers and students and assist the students to overcome their learning problems.

The college takes all steps for the speedy receipt of all government scholarships to the students, especially the SC/ST students. The RVS Trust which runs the college provides scholarships up to 50% to the following:-

Meritorious students, physically challenged, refugees, economically poor, sports persons, District level, State level and University level.

Fluency in English is not only a hallmark of a sophisticated educated person but also among excellent credentials as far as procuring a decent employment is concerned. Keeping this in view, the language department has a fully equipped lab, which provides ample linguistic training and exercises. Additionally, this lab trains students in group discussion, personality development and the like.

The college is sufficiently equipped with 150 computers with adequate connected facilities. They are networked with high speed LAN, all original licensed software and broadband internet facility. Windows 2000 Server, Windows NT Server are the backbone of our Computer Lab.

The Internet Centre works from 9.00am to 6.00 pm on all working days.
Students are allowed to utilize Internet facilities after their class hours.
Free Internet facility is provided for all the staff members and PG Students.
Users are permitted to download files and mails in floppies or CD’s.

Campus network is intended through wireless network for student access, the network is open for access at campus reading room with access restrictions.
The computer lab consists of system administration, Network administration and system support.

Our Library was started with 200 volumes of subject books. It was shifted to the new building named Kaviarasar Kannadhasan Memorial Information Centre. It covers an area of 1870 sq.ft with fully ventilated,stack and reading rooms. Our Library provides numerous reference material to the students of all disciplines. Apart from dailies, several journals and magazines are subscribed. More than 7000 books are available for reference.

Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Hostel Building is located inside the college campus. Students from Bhutan, Sri lanka, Kerala and Tamilnadu are accomodate here. Prayers are held in morning and evening to help the students to relax mentally and physically. Hostel life in SRC is a home away from home for all students.
