EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

NSS

The NSS units of our college are very proactive and dynamic. There are three units comprising 300 students. The volunteers involve themselves in the activities like blood donating, tree plantation, eye care camps and campus cleaning. Our volunteers visit the neighboring villages regularly and render social service. In addition to this they offer their services during festivals in and around the town and in various temples and extend a helping hand to the police in regulating traffic, crowd management and the like. Our college NSS has adopted a village and a higher secondary school.

NCC

Our college NCC wing is affiliated to 6TN MED.COY.NCC,112-A, ATT Colony Coimbatore. The wing was inaugurated by Col.P.P.Sing VSM . Our NCC wings conducts parade twice a week. The parade is conducted between 3.30 and 6.00pm.

PTA

Parent – Teacher relationship plays a vital role in the academic performance of students. The college conducts PTA meet twice a year. The specified time/date are intimated earlier to the parents. They are also encouraged to the interact with mentor, HOD and principal. Their comments and suggestions are taken seriously by the staff and management of the college.

ALUMNI

An alumnus is the real identification of every institution. A very effective alumni association is functioning in our college. Two association meetings are conducted for every academic year.

PLACEMENT CELL

The placement and career guidance cell of SRC plays an important roll in the student’s career to choose their job. Regular seminars and training programmes are conducted to equip the students to achieve the best career opportunities. Various campus interviews and off campus interviews have been organized by the cell. This cell maintains good rapport with companies and their recruitment departments. Many famous companies conduct placement camps in the college on regular basis.

Every year A MEGA JOB FAIR is arranged by the placement cell for the benefit of the students as well as the public. Students from various colleges participate and are benefited by these fairs.
