    Nothing can be more praiseworthy than providing education, that too in rural areas by an individual. Thiru S.Ramasamy Reddiar as Secretary of R.V.S. Matriculation School began his service to education in the year 1977. Since then he is running the school successfully. Such a dynamic and enthusiastic person later on had the vision to start a college named Sree Ramu College Of Arts and Science, in the year 1996 at N.M.Sungam, Valparai road, Vedasendor P.O, Pollachi T.K to provide higher education to the youth of Pollachi and Udumalpet region.
